Opportunity: Cost effective logistic solutions have been the foundation of Utah companies entering the international marketplace. Freight forwarding companies have been playing a key role in the successful international supply chain. Utah companies have been shipping products overseas at a rate that is staggering. For example, Utah’s direct exports to Europe alone are up 26 percent at 3 Billion dollars for the first 6 months of 2010.
During this roundtable discussions, experts from Germany will discuss the fast changing freight forwarding industry in Germany and Europe. Specific freight forwarding best practices will be analyzed. Please come prepared with questions.
